The size of the circle reflects how full the tank is. Fuel is used by the Ship when you accelerate. Fuel can be obtained from destroyed enemies and the shop, and by harvesting Gas Giants or Lush Planets. ENERGY is displayed as a blue circle in the Energy Gauge [Below the Fuel Gauge]. Energy is used to fire lasers, turn the ship, and use the Probe. Energy is generated passively while not using the Probe. Energy can be obtained through destroyed enemies and the shop, harvesting Blue Stars, and burning fuel. SHIELD is displayed, when controlling the Ship, in the bottom right of the screen over a miniature version of the ship as a blue overlay. The less transparent the overlay is, the more shields you have. Shield is used during combat or spaceflight to negate damage. When the shield is empty, any attack will destroy the player's ship. The shield can be replenished at forges or shops, or can be obtained at the cost of energy by Refilling Shield. Additionally, shields can be refilled by colliding with a blue star. SALVAGE is displayed in the shop/forge menu in the top left of the screen. It is used as currency in the shop. Salvage can be obtained from destroyed enemies, harvesting abandoned space stations, and bought in the shop. ALUMINUM is displayed in the shop/forge menu in the top left of the screen, below Salvage. It can be used to upgrade and repair the Ship and Probe at a forge, as well as be sold in the Shop. Aluminum can be obtained from destroyed enemies, harvesting abandoned space stations or asteroids, and bought in the shop. TITANIUM is displayed in the shop/forge menu in the top left of the screen, below Aluminum. It can be used to upgrade the Ship and Probe at a forge, as well as be sold in the Shop. Titanium can be obtained from destroyed enemies and by harvesting abandoned space stations or asteroids. DURANTIUM is displayed in the shop/forge menu in the top left of the screen, below Titanium. It can be used to upgrade the Ship at a forge, as well as be sold in the Shop. Durantium can be obtained by harvesting abandoned space stations or destroying boss enemies. -LOCATIONS/OBJECTS- ASTEROID- The asteroid is the most common object. It deals minimal damage to shield when hit, is destroyed by collision or lasers; and can be harvested for Aluminum and Titanium. ABANDONED STATIONS- Abandoned Stations can be found somewhat frequently throughout the game. They are destroyed with 2-3 laser hits or a collision, and deal significant damage to the shield when collided with. They can be harvested for large amounts of Scrap and Aluminum, and moderate amounts of Titanium and Durantium. PLANETS- Planets are speckled throughout the game and do not collide with the Ship, but can be harvested by the probe. +LUSH: Lush planets are green and small, and provide moderate amounts of fuel when harvested. Harvesting a lush planet will cause it to be destroyed. +BARREN: Barren planets are grey/tan and small, and cannot be harvested. +GAS GIANT: Gas giants are large and red/yellow/brown, and can be harvested for significant amounts of fuel STARS- Stars can be found at least once on every level. When collided with, they immediately destroy the player. +RED: Red stars are red. +YELLOW: Yellow stars are yellow. +BLUE: Blue stars are blue, and are slightly smaller than the Red and Yellow variants. When collided with, they refill the player's shield. They can be harvested for a large amount of energy. Blue stars are found much less often than Red or Yellow Stars. SHOP- Shops are located intermittently throughout levels, and can only be accessed once all enemies have been destroyed. Shops can be used to exchange resources for salvage, and vice versa. In addition, Shops can refill the player's shield for a small amount of salvage. FORGE- Forges are found at the end of every spiral and can be used to refill the player's shield free of charge, as well as to upgrade the player's ship and probe. These upgrade require Aluminum, Titanium, and Durantium. WORMHOLE- Wormholes are found in every level after defeating all enemies and transport the player to the next level.
