Player 1 is the block placer and player 2 is the pawn. Player one goes first by placing the specified number of blocks to try to trap the pawn. Player two then moves, selecting any of the highlighted squares to move there. Players alternate turns until the pawn either: Can't move (player 1 wins) or reaches the edge of the board (player 2 wins)
