❛ the greatest adventure is what lies ahead. ❜ ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ intro┊↴ ⋆ hey so i won this girl from a litter back in like. june and then the great journey + all those events happened and essentially scared me off bc there were so many people/so much going on and it was overwhelming for me (though i missed out on some great chances for character development </3) anyway i feel bad for having worked so hard to win symphony and then proceeding to Not do anything with her so i'll try to be more active from now on! she's gonna be a kittypet/possibly loner for now but that could change i look forward to using her more + giving her some development! without getting scared off this time </3 (click the sprite for other art/costumes btw!) ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ story┊↴ ⋆ ❝ four abandoned, two-moon-old scottish fold kittens are found in a woven basket near the edge of the forest. they are cold, dehydrated, and miserable, with no hope in sight, until two cats - saffronbee (@bxrrybaer) and oriolepaw (@sad-archaeopteryx) of shadowclan - find the shivering bundles of fur. because of the great journey, the kittens are taken aboard the kittyhawk (boat 1) until they reach the new territory and are taken into the twoleg place to be adopted by an elderly couple. ❞ physical appearance┊↴ ⋆ afab ⋆ height - full-grown ➸ 10” in. ⋆ weigh - full-grown ➸ 8 lbs ⋆ symphony is a thick-furred feline with an off-white base coat. she has small, blue-grey blotches on all for paws, her nose, and her right ear. she has classic tabby, light-blue grey stripes going up all four legs and under her eyes. she also has azure-blue eyes. ⋆ 100% scottish fold personality┊↴ being the youngest of her siblings, symphony is used to hiding in her littermates' shadows, tending to be shy and reserved as a first impression. though it takes a while for her to open up to others, the few bonds she does form are very strong and important to her. symphony usually relies on her heart rather than her head, which doesn't always end well, especially when it comes to decisions. symphony is also rather forgetful and unreliable - if you want her to get a job done, it'll most likely be forgotten or not carried out. she's a bit flighty and has a hard time committing to things, preferring to have a few committments she's very invested in. summary: (+) empathetic, loyal, passionate (=) reserved, forgetful, shy (-) unreliable, indecisive, flighty other┊↴ current age: 37 moons old she will develop osteochondrodysplasia due to being a purebred scottish fold, which impacts cartilage development and often leads to cartilage abnormalities. because of this scottish fold cats are prone to arthritis, which symphony will also develop, though not severely. arthritis causes pain and occasionally swelling in the joints, and thus a reluctance to move, so some days physical activity might be difficult for her. with symphony's case being fairly mild, however, the pain won't affect her daily life too severely, with some days being worse due to things such as the cold. her back legs will be most affected, and some days she may walk with a limp. being a kittypet, symphony's twolegs will be able to take her to the vet and later in life will be able to provide her with dietary supplements/pain relievers to somewhat lessen the effects of her disease. links used by me/for further research: - https://icatcare.org/advice/scottish-fold-disease-osteochondrodysplasia/ - https://pets.webmd.com/cats/cat-arthritis-symptoms-pain-relief - https://kb.rspca.org.au/knowledge-base/what-are-the-animal-welfare-problems-associated-with-scottish-fold-cats/ she will also likely develop social anxiety (i will do research for that + i have it myself so her thoughts/behavior will be based off of mine) her siblings are named harmony, melody, and rhapsody (as far as i'm aware)! and that's about it so far! she's p much a blank canvas atm but i'm really hoping to change that credits┊↴ ⋆ ➸ character design, host, bio format/layout/design ⋆ ➸ original base ⋆ ➸ freehand reference
