A genetically engineered ecosystem has been made for one purpose; food. You must cultivate this ecosystem to create Cowxolotls to sell for money to keep the ecosystem alive. Problem is, this is a low funded project. You will be attacked by harsh elements, invasive species, and mass extinction. You must work hard to raise enough money in 7 days to keep this business alive. Click the green flag to start. It will give you an event, and the turn will function as normal. To end a turn, click the event button. A random event will happen and be displayed on the screen. The event will happen and the creatures will reproduce, consume water, and die if they consume too much. Click the $ sign to buy water, buy land, invest in stocks, or sell organisms. You can also click letters on the keyboard to buy and sell(EX: W to buy water, S to sell a slug, SPACE for an event). When you invest in stocks, it takes 3 cash and gives back a random amount the next turn. An organism needs 1 unit of land to be on, 1 unit of water to consume each turn, and 2 prey to 'eat' (they are not consumed). When you invest in stocks, it takes a value of money equal to the current stocks plus one multiplied by the amount of times you invested that turn. The next turn, you get back a value of money equal to your previous investment multiplied by the new stock market. To win, you need 200 money, 150 land, 8 grass, 4 slugs, and 2 cows when the 15th day hits. The points variable calculates your points at the end, simply for comparing success with yourself and others. Events include: -Donation: Gain 15 money -Invasive species: lose 1/2 of all species -Land loss: lose 10 land -Rainstorm: Gain 25 water -Rich soil: Double grass reproduction -Poor soil: Lose grass reproduction -Disease: All species are reduced down to 10 or less -Drought: Lose 1/3 of water -Fire: Lose 1/2 of all grass
