━ ━ ━ ➹ abt ⠀hey, it's jia again! this is my sgt audition, and in this particular project I'll be showing my years of progress with yarn-ing. keep in mind I'll only be showing significant growth, and not every single project I've ever done lol- also, by yarn-ing I mean knitting and crocheting, as well as the sub-categories of those. ━ ━ ━ ➹ navigation ⠀click the green flag x2 (or load it on turbowarp!) once the music ends, follow the instructions to ride on the rollercoaster of my journey (that analogy xD) hover your mouse over the message-looking button to see my notes on each photo this is a mobile friendly project :D ━ ━ ━ ➹story ⠀this is actually such a wild story, but I thought I would share my yarn journey! ⠀my great-grandmother first taught my grandma to knit (they are on different sides of my family), and 5ish years ago, my grandma taught my sister, who had been finger knitting for awhile, to knit. that further encouraged me to learn (btw thanks to my sister for that hehe), so for about a year and a half I was knitting (but quite terribly, I'm afraid). I took a break from that for a half year, and then the coronavirus started! my friend already knew to crochet, and my great-grandmother (who died btw (I didn't know her very well, but I can still remember her)) knew how to crochet. so it was pretty much the perfect opportunity to learn to crochet. ⠀I started with the simple things- a video tutorial here and there, and I started learning from an amigurumi (crocheted or knitted stuffed toys) website (thanks stringydingding!), and kept learning on my own, and now I'm here! ━ ━ ━ ➹credits - @ooni- for the bg music and idea - sgt because it's amazing - my sister (ayo @softlysinging) - everyone that's supported me on making my crochet content- thank you!
