I will release it a chapter at a time, and this is Chapter 1. Scroll down to read! <=================================> Chapter 1 Deep in the Opal Wood, A family of foxes lay asleep on the floor of their den, except 2 of them, which sat arguing. "Come on, admit it!" "No! I dont! Its not- not like that!" "Not even a little bit?" "No. Not even a little." The second, smaller kit growled at his brother. He hated it when he did this. "So, you dont like Ashley, right?" The second kit opened his mouth, about to say something along the lines of 'no, I dont like Ashley, and I dont want to start a den with her, and I dont think her fur is beautiful and that her eyes sparkle like the stars in the sky at twilight.' but then hesitated. The truth was he DID like Ashley, but he would never admit it to his brother. Unfortunately, his moment of hesitation was proof enough. "Oh, so you do now." "What?! No!" His face flushed red. He had messed up by hesitating, and now he was in for a long time of teasing. Across the field, another family slept, the kits snuggling close to their mother and father, all except, the smallest. She stared up at the sky, watching the stars. As she watched, she thought. Why was everything so boring right now? people had told her the life of a fox was exciting, but not once had she had even a lick of adventure. She laid down, and eventually, drifted off to sleep. The kits of the Opal Wood woke up to what promised to be the best, most exciting day of their lives, and that was the first day of school. Today, they would all go, for the first time, outside the Opal Wood. They, and the fox kits of the Ruby Wood and Sapphire Wood, would go and meet. Of course, though their mother didn't know, 2 of the Opal kits had already left the safety of the Opal wood before, and meet the Ruby kits, multiple times. The alpha, Laney, lead the way, followed by the 2 brothers, Jacob and Markl, and the runt, Venus. Off they all went, to meet the Ruby and Sapphire kits at the big oak tree. Finally, they arrived. The first person to talk to them was Ashley. "Hey! I'm Ashley!" "Oh hey Ash." Markl couldn't look away no matter how hard he tried. He stared into her blue swirl eyes, and she looked back into his cyan ones. He blushed, and she did to. Finally, he was able to pry his eyes away from hers, and she did the same. He heard a snicker from behind him, Jacob, no doubt. "Kits, Gather around! It is time for the lesson to begin!" The kits gathered around the large oak, watching the teacher intently. "You all are now old enough to begin lessons, so I am here to give them to you. My name is Mrs Trix, and I will teach you how to survive." Every kit drew breath at once. <=================================> So ya, that was Chapter 1. I hope you liked it. If you want the next one to be a comic, imma need some help cuz I cant draw furies.
