WARNING // MENTIONS OF ABU$3 AND D3ATH As many of you may know, the talented @daisy365 has two ocs who she makes often makes projects about. Star, left, and Jasmine, right. These two at first glance are just a cute couple, but as you watch more and more projects containing them, you start to realise there's a lot more to their story, and that's what I'm here to investigate. At the time of me writing this, there are, give or take, 23 Starmine projects posted. Lets start with a rough timeline of these projects. So far, we don't know how Star and Jasmine met, only that they started dating at some point during their school years. Star's mother didn't approve of the relationship, and tried at some points to sabotage it. After Star and Jasmine graduated, Star's mental health took a turn for the worse. This eventually led to Star passing on, and Jasmine was left devastated. Jasmine was left in a bad place, and that's here the story so far ends. Obviously, some of these events could be interchangeable, but this is my basic idea so far. We already know from a few projects, that Star's mother is toxic, and is not a good influence on Star. Star often has to deal with social anxiety, and parts of her sense of self worth hinge on her academic prowess. One example we see of this is in one of the first posted Starmine projects, 'All Eyes Are On You', which features just Star. The plot of the project is that Star answers a question wrong in class, and panics afterwards. From this we can gather that Star's mother often expected her to get perfect grades, regardless of Star's thoughts or feelings. From another early project 'It was my-' we also learn that Star's mother would sometimes venture to the point of physical abuse. Star's mother has done many manipulative things throughout these projects, and can be established as one of the antagonists of their story. We also know that at some point after Star and Jasmine graduate, Star passes on, and Jasmine is left alone. From prior gathered information, we know that Jasmine's dad is absent and this could lead to Jasmine feeling more attached to people in her life. This comes to a head when Star, the love of Jasmine's life, dies, and Jasmine is left behind without her. At this time, its unknown as to what happens afterwards, but we do know that the story is far from over.
