TurboWarp is recommended for this project! Use the following link to open it there: TurboWarp: https://turbowarp.org/724217791?size=640x360 Keybinds: Keybinds are randomly selected from a-z plus the spacebar. The current keybinds are displayed at the bottom of the screen and will change every 15 seconds, or when a level is cleared. Jumping: Holding the jump key longer results in a higher jump, and releasing it in the air causes you to fall faster. Stuck? If you get stuck somewhere (in the literal sense), press the button to stop the project and it will reset the current level. To simply respawn, press enter. If you need help, check the bottom of the notes and credits section. Input Modes: -Touch: Designed for touch screens, touch mode places buttons on the screen to control the character. Note that due to limitations in scratch, only one finger can be detected at once. To compensate, every input you touch remains active until you let go, or slide over the opposite input. -Gamepad: To use the gamepad feature, load the project on TurboWarp, and enable the gamepad feature via addons. The buttons should already be configured correctly, but on some controllers you may need to swap the A/B and X/Y. Hazards and Obstacles: Finish: The red/green square located somewhere on each level. Reach it while it is green to move on to the next level. Spikes: Gray triangles will stand in your way. If you touch them, you will die and have to restart the level. Lifts/Platforms: Some platforms will move, while some are stationary. Platforms can be jumped through from below. Press the fall key on any platform that is not red to fall through it. Green platforms will fade in and out, so time your jumps carefully! Keys: Some levels may contain keys. The finish will be inactive until you collect all of them. Dying will not reset the keys you have collected unless you have collected all of them in a given level. Plan your key collecting accordingly. Inverted Gravity: Represented by a red shaded area, touching inverted gravity will flip your character around and invert jumping. Lasers: Some lasers will turn on and off while others will only turn off for a short time. Don't touch a laser while it's on or you'll have to start over. Saws: They are the same as spikes, only they move and spin. Cheats: There are a few cheat options available, to enable cheats go to settings > cheats menu > and click "cheats off" to toggle it on. Speed: How fast the character moves and accelerates. Defaults to 4. Slip: How long it takes to accelerate. Defaults to 8. ASWD: Prevents randomizing keybinds and locks them to the ASWD keys. Debug: Provides a debug menu on the left of the screen. Teleport: Press the teleport key to teleport your character to your mouse pointer. Note: Levels completed with cheats enabled will not be marked as complete in the level select menu. Therefore you cannot enable the rainbow player if you beat levels with cheats until all of the levels are marked as complete.
If you keep seeing the "Your FPS is too low to play!" screen, the project might be lagging. This is something I plan to fix if possible, but on some devices such as low end laptops or chromebooks the project may freeze occasionally. Level Tips (These will someday make it into the in-game tips menu): 1: To get onto the first platform, stand by the far right wall and hold jump. You should automatically wall jump up onto the platform. 2: Stand on the middle of the yellow lift and wait for the timer to run out, then jump for the platform. 3: This level is very wall jump intensive. If you're having trouble with the keybinds, just hold the jump key and switch between the left and right keys to jump up the walls. 4: Collect all of the keys and press the fall key to make it back down. 5: Start by jumping through the middle red platform and then collect the other key. 6: Don't collect the key in the top right until you have all other keys to avoid losing your progress. 7: Collect the two keys on top first so that you are less likely to die after collecting the final key in the inverted gravity section. 8: Get a running start from the bottom left and then hold jump into the inverted gravity. If done correctly, you should arrive ion the small blue platform. 9: The keys here are randomly placed. If you don't like your shuffle, stop the project and you will get a new shuffle. 10: When attempting to reach the final key, fall out of the inverted gravity on the far right, and fall back in to land on the green platform. 11: It's all about timing. Jump off the edge of the first green platform just before it dissapears. Make sure you jump before the platform you're standing on vanishes as well and jump to the left to grab the key. 12: It's just a normal level, only everything is text. 13: Don't worry too much about timing the lasers. There is a brief grace period where no lasers are active, and you can get out of harms way before it's too late. 14: Open the level select menu, and go to level 10. Then re-open the level select menu and open level 14 again. A spot of inverted gravity should magically appear! 15: The key on the left is actually not in the ground. Press the fall key while standing above it to fall through the ground, and don't fall for the ceiling trap by the finish! 16: The best way to get past the spikes is to wall jump right before you reach the top. 17: Time your jumps to avoid coming into contact with any spinning saws. 18: I am tired of creating level tips for now so good luck!
