I aint gonna do a chapter two. Too busy. Feel free to spectulate about stuff. ɢʀᴀɴᴅᴘᴀ's ғᴀʀᴍ ᴘʀᴏᴜᴅʟʏ ᴘʀᴇsᴇɴᴛᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ʙʏ @-ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀsʜᴀᴠᴇɴ- ᴄᴏᴘʏʀɪɢʜᴛ (ᴄ) ᴘᴜʙʟɪsʜᴇᴅ ɪɴ 2022 Today, I would be going to Grandpa's farm. I know. It wasn't that fancy- and one would expect a more lavish holiday than a farm- and certainly one would expect a rich girl to spend their holidays in some exotic location. But that was not me. I adored animals- in all shapes and sizes. So going to Grandpa's farm was like heaven to me, surrounded by animals the entire summer. There would be no annoying girls bugging me, no boys staring at me, and certainly no homework to focus on. At last, the driver pulled up to the farm. I thanked the driver and then saw my grandpa waving at me. "Hello, Grandpa," I said. He smiled. "Are you ready to take care of some animals?" He replied, eyes twinkling. "You bet I am!" He and I both knew that my parents wouldn't approve of this- but Grandpa was my Grandpa and was father's father, so they couldn't exactly say no. But there was still protesting. He showed me around the farm. "Everything's different since you last visited, Iris. Many things have changed, indeed. For a starters, the aviary has been moved to the other side of the property." I chuckled. "Because of the noise, wasn't it?" "You got it. The pig, chicken, cow, horse and the sheep pens have all been moved, because I have purchased more land. They are at the back, near where the forest is. Don't worry," Grandpa said, glancing at me. "They won't escape. Promise. I must get going; though I am sorry to not have spent as much time with you as I should have." "It's ok. I can...explore the new place by myself." "Oh! That reminds me," Grandpa said. "I've hired a boy to help me. Very useful, he is. If I'm not around, ask him and he'll probably know. But I've got to go, Iris," he said, and went away. I rolled my eyes. Classic Grandpa. Once I'd finished looking around, the sun was setting. I hurried over, inside one of the cottages. It was pretty clean, except for the occasional food crumbs I spotted. I found a bedroom and dumped my suitcase on the bed. It was pretty empty- all I had were clothes, a few books and my phone. It probably wouldn't work out here, though. I flung the closet door open, only pleasantly surprised to find clothes already inside. Oh, I thought. This must be Grandpa's cottage. But he didn't mention anything about moving cottages- did he? I gathered my things and stepped out of the room to find a boy around my age with his arms crossed.
