:::::::::::: Notice :::::::::::: Sometimes the Mobile/PC detector fails to work properly and sometimes the menu doesn't pop up. Clicking the flag again will fix this. :::::::::::: Instructions :::::::::::: Touch controls - Left and Right arrows on the D-Pad move you in the specified direction. The down arrow is used to duck or roll while running. The up arrow is used to jump. The diagonal arrows are used to perform two actions at once (Jumping and running or rolling while running.) The button to the far right of your screen is used to spin dash but it can also be used as an alternate jump or roll button... Just more buggy. PC/Computer - Arrow keys to move, press z to jump, and to perform a spin dash hold the down button and press z. PC controls may be buggy due to the changes made to the engine. Ok so basically I saw a cool sonic mobile Genesis project and I "borrowed" the idea and made my own simplified version with my own changes. 1 - I created a D-Pad instead of using a shifting joystick. A joystick alone doesn't work all that well in a sonic game... But joysticks that go to where you put your finger to move is just plain annoying sometimes. A D-Pad is basically a dumbed-down version of a non-shifting joystick. 2 - This engine was just a remix, not its own thing. The only reason this exists is because I was bored. So I just remixed the @tomicool sonic engine, slapped some touch controls on and tada... Sonic mobile Genesis Engine (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*.✧ 3 - There is no third reason this is just down here because yes. Originally, the jump button was going to be on the opposite side of the screen as the D-Pad... However, Scratch doesn't really allow for the mouse pointer (your finger) to click two places at once and the program freaks out and cancels your click altogether... So now you have to slide your finger onto the jump button located in the D-Pad instead of using your right thumb.
Credits go to @tomicool for the sonic engine that made this possible and for the original idea. Continued credits : SEGA for Sonic the hedgehog for the sonic 1 and/or 2 theme song remix.
