This is a fully functioning and customizable chess clock! Best used on a mobile device lol. ★ How to use ★ By clicking on the settings icon, you get to the settings (duh). There you can change how much time both players have to play. The delay is the time it's waiting before removing your time (each of your turns). Then click on "Apply" and place your device next to the chess board, so that both can access it. After each turn on the board, the person who played clicks on their half of the screen. Then the time of the other player starts getting taken away. The game ends like normally or when one player lost all their available time (it makes a sound then). ★ Credits ★ ■ The layout is inspired by other online chess clocks ■ The time is displayed by using scripts from a tutorial by @griffpatch: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/atMwy3UKc14/ ■ All sounds made by Scratch Team ■ The settings icon is a modified version of one by @Hemkernator: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/115368946/ ■ The font in the thumbnail is from https://cooltext.com/ ★ Rarely Asked Questions ★ Q: What is chess? A: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chess Last week I played chess with my cousins, so I downloaded a chess clock app on my phone. That gave me the idea to make one myself on Scratch! This afternoon I saw that a chess studio was featured, which reminded me of it. So a few hours later, here we go! Feedback and suggestions are highly appreciated.
