She was the runt of the litter, and her siblings constantly teased her about her small wings. The dad never stopped this. Only the mom defended her. One day, her mom was teaching her siblings how to make silent wingbeats when a strong gust of wind swept them away! With only her dad around, she was quiet and shy. One day she had decided she had had enough! She was certain her mom was still alive out there. At midnight, she crept away from the hut. she took off the ground shakily until she was soaring! One day she was tired and needed a rest so she wobbled shakily down into a clearing. There was a tiny hut in it and she knocked on the door. When the door opened she couldn't believe her eyes! "Mom!" she yelped, jumping into her arms. They lived together in that hut until eventually, the mom was so old that she passed away. Autumn was very sad. She was lonely, so she got an owl as a pet. Now she lives in the same hut with her owl, maple (Who I didn't draw because I JUST came up with him.). She named her after the maple tree that sprouted where her mother was buried. Lol I couldn't think of a better ending.
