Full screen is recommended for this game. You cannot go back to different levels and replay them, because could you go back to the past in the real world? There will, however, be a mode added in the future called Infinite Mode where you fight waves of mobs until you die, and there will also, at the end of the game, be quests you can go on all the time that will be added every so often. But don't expect this for awhile, because it's not coming soon. All of the instructions are in the tutorial. You can now skip the tutorial if you want to get right to the action! Level 5 and level 4 animations are coming soon, as well as other improvements to existing ones! Level 6 will be out after these animations and animation fixes! Story : (This story will be added into the game in an animation in the future. Basically, you are the hero, Spikeball. You're relaxing in the forest one day, when Marshal Rogers comes up to you and tells you that aliens are trying to take over the world. You, being the hero, of course go and try to save the world from the aliens, going through all ten levels to their capital and trying to destroy the Titanium Warrior, their king. Only you can decide whether you succeed, or the world falls to the aliens. This will be added into the game eventually :P The twist : This game has a special feature that literally lets the player decide the fate of the world, based on their successes and defeats per level. If you succeed, you play a different version of the next level than if you had failed. Once you play the final level, if you have succeeded at 50% of the levels or more, you see the winning animation and you have essentially saved the world. If you have failed at 50% of the levels or less, you see the failure animation and the ultimate destruction of the world. I believe this is an original concept, because I have never seen it in a game before on Scratch. If you have, let me know! I want to see it!
The only reason this is a remix is because I wanted to borrow some of the stuff from the version on my old account, which I ended up scrapping anyway :P Credits: Programming - Most of the scripting : Me, The "following player/Spikeball" script, modified by me, is by : Music - "It's a trap!" : "The Forge" : "Nature sfx" : A free music website... idk the address though. Updates: 11/10/2015- I updated a lot of the AI's with some new moves and whatnot special to the type of enemy. The brute now runs after Spikeball when he is in range, and the bandits have a special 'charge' attack that they launch at Spikeball when they get close to him. The mini-boss, the Golden General, now has another type of ammunition that I will let you find out for yourself at level 5! 10/22/2015- I fixed a lot of things in level 5, like the terrain, the Golden General's firing, and how he takes damage, but I still haven't added any animations for that level because of lack of motivation and that I am more interested in learning code such as Ruby, JavaScript, HTML, etc. 10/2/2015 - I added the ability to skip the animations at the beginning and end of each level, and I will be adding level 5 animations shortly! 9/20/2015 - I added the Bazooka! Yay, explosions! :D 9/18/2015 - I fixed a few glitches, and I added the options menu, which means that you can now use the arrow keys to control Spikeball! I also increased how effective the helper was by increasing how often he shoots. 9/16/2015 - I advanced the enemy AI and I also added the shop, as well as the first weapon aside from the blaster, a 500 coin machine gun. Money as far as coins dropping from enemies is not yet implemented, but you can still earn money at the end of each round. 9/13/2015 - I added level 4, and I also added a rough artificial helper. He's an elite bandit that will help kill off all of the bad guys! 9/8/2015 - I added level 2, as well as the success/failure animations after level 1, and I also added some epic battle music to listen to while playing a level. More levels, as well as the shop and options, will be out soon! 9/7/2015 - Initial Release. Only one level, but players can experience what Spikeball's Alien Blaster will be like in the future! More levels will be added very, very soon!
