Characters: Charlie González She/They (17) Sato Kuasaki He/Him (16) - Charlie's bf London Springs They/Them (17) Charlie's bestieee Aristotle Kane He/Him (18) Charlie's friend and ex ofc theres more but these are the main ones Sato is a new transfer student from Japan. He meets Charlie one day during attendance class. They sit together and exchange friendly conversation. Charlie has a lot of friends he notices. At some point Charlie notice that he doesn't have any friends so she invites him to sit with her and her friends. They hang out a ton and he becomes a part of their group. Charlie and him have had feeling for eachother for a while but neither of them made moves. Charlie didn't because of her past and her fear of intimacy, and Sato didn't because of his insecurities. Its constant pining, Sato rants to Ari a ton and Charlie rants to London. Meanwhile London and Ari are just like: ugh the dumb perra's. Ari is a bit jealous of course. Considering his past with Charlie, but never starts anything. As Sato and Charlie start being a bit more on the flirty side his anger increases , he hears a nasty rumor that Sato called Charlie a bad word behind her back and eventually he starts a fight with Sato. That was a mistake obviously, Ari is beat to a pulp. And Charlie is like "wth Sato, bye we arent frens" and Sato doesn't hang out with them for a while. But eventually Ari is honest with Charlie and tells her why they been fighting and that he had started the fight. He suggest's Sato's feelings for her and shes like "ok" She visits him after school and they explain everything. They apologize and they make up and have a wholesome bonding moment, they are abt to make out but the Charlie's like "UHH HAHAA BYE" bcuz trauma And she run's off. next day everythings back to normal but theres some awkward stuff going on between them for a while. London and Ari are tired of this so they meddle and set them up on a date because. "They are both sick with a fever and can't go to the group event we all said we'd go too" So Charlie and Sato have boba together in awkward silence, Sato eventually brings up the other day. And Charlies like *sigh* ok fine. She brings him home and explains her SA experience, and how much she struggled with intimacy. And that's why most of her dates were not long lived. She has a bit of a flashback and Sato's there to comfort her. That weekend they hang out a ton, talking about them and stuff. Eventually after P I N I N G for the entirety of the school week. Charlie and Sato sneak out on Friday night for a late night trip to 7 eleven. They sit on Charlie's roof with their slurpees and talk. Now for a crappy dialogue i did go to notes and credits
"Yeah and it's like- Cm'on dude!!! I want my frigin soccer ball back!!!" Sato laughed He was telling me about one of his many Giorno stories, his brother that was still in Japan. He didn’t move with Sato because of a fancy school he got to go to. Apparently it was like, a really good school. I couldn't help tilting my head to look at him, he looked so nice, laying down. Moonlight shining against his slightly too long blonde hair. His tongue was blue because of his Slurpee. Others may have said it looked dumb but I found it endearing. "Hey Sato?" I said, interrupting him in mid sentence, He turned to look back at me "Yeah?" "Can I- uh-" I struggled to find the words. It was like it was stuck at the back of my throat. I started getting anxious. I fidgeted with my pigtails and looked down at the truck in my front yard. Trying to look at anything but him. My stomach started to feel like it was being twisted into knots. "Take your time" He said patiently, interrupting my thoughts. He guided my hand away from my hair. After a few moments I sighed and took a deep breath. "Can I [kizz] you?" I immediately turned red. Anxiety growing in my chest. His eyes widened "Really?" "Yeah" "uH Sure then-" he said awkwardly. I gulped and leaned in. (bit of a SA mention here) *idk how to describe making out tbh so uh yeah* It was a blissful moment, nothing like the kisses I had been forced into as a young child. My anxieties melted away as I melted into the [kizz]. Sato cupped my cheek in his hand. His thumb brushed a few strands of hair that was our of place. I didn't know where to put my hands to be honest. So I just kept them where they were at the moment. He pulled away. "Wow" He whispered to himself. His hand remained on my cheek "Was that okay?" He asked. "Uh- Yeah it was actually more than okay" I chuckled to myself.
