assalamualikum, may peace be upon you and may allah bless yourself and your loved ones, ameen<3 — — — this ‘that girl’ aesthetic has been going on for a couple years now, but some of the tips you see on Pinterest are not relevant, or just not able to do in 2022. basing off of me experience, ill be telling you how to become the best version of yourself, all while people think you have the ‘that girl’ lifestyle! (disclaimer ; a ‘that girl’ aesthetic isnt a specific aesthetic, its a lifestyle that seems perfect) 1 • start step by step in loving yourself. it takes quite a while, for me about 6-7 months but starting now will make a big change in the future. try and stop comparing yourself to others and speaking affirmations to yourself every day. this changes your mindset to a more positive, friendly one. wear outfits you like to make yourself more confident. do what you like that makes you feel happy!! 2 • take more photos! it doesnt have to be just selfies, but everyday photos of the sky, the book youre reading, or even your shoes. this makes you think you have a worthy life and you feel more lucky and grateful towards these things. you can also take selfies of your fits, face or anything part of you! there are many videos on social media that have ideas on how to pose for photos (faceless + non faceless) too:) 3 • mildly exercise. i say ‘mildly’ because i know that myself, and many others, cant fit a whole workout in a day. honestly, experts say you should workout a few times a week, with a few days for rest. if you are a beginner, try small, easy workouts so you get the gist of how your body works and burns. then, progress to more challenging ones. plus++ dont go straight to chloe ting! i honestly think chloe ting’s workouts are very intense, even the smaller ones, like the toned arm one! i think to start with, you should go with emi wong or gloria song and then once you feel like it, progress to chloe ting. remember, not every ytuber works for you! 4 • include healthy foods into meals! dont change up a whole meal at once, trust me, it wont work. youll be going back to the same meal the next day. instead, add a few veggies to your plate. and that icecream for dessert? you could top it off with sliced berries or bananas! opt for wheaty cereals, like weetabix or bran flakes, muesli or porridge. or maybe a crumpet, toast or a baguette? you can create the toppings with fruits, nuts, seeds, peanut butter and shaved dark chocolate! research what the vitamins are and find out foods you can eat to make sure you dont lack any! (pro tip, if you dont like water, go for sparkling water, coconut water or non-sugar flavoured water! just so you have those daily ozs:)) 5 • never be unkind. even to your enemies, you should be polite and kind with them. if people see you as rude, they may not talk to you. simple things like saying thank you, greeting someone politely and smiling makes people think you are a nice and friendly person! (btw, if youre an introvert like me, with your friends and people you talk to, go the extra mile and get em gifts:0 simple things like toffee really makes their day because they know you care about them) hope this helped!
