Scorch is a unique evasion game where not only do you have to avoid oncoming enemies—you have to destroy them, too. In Scorch, you control a little black smoking ball with your mouse. The ball cannot touch any of the oncoming spikes, but if you hit the spikes with your smoky trail, they will be Scorched, earning you a point. When you finally run into a spike, the game will end and you will be scored based on how many seconds you survived and how many spikes you scorched. If you've played as long as you'd like, you can always end the game by pressing 0 to see your score.
All the coding and most of the graphics by yours truly. Feedback and comments are appreciated. Music: Crack The Code by @PaulRHJT. His songs are free to use by Scratchers Explosion Animation: @spritelover UPDATE LOG: 8/16/2015: Per puggle276's advice, I changed the way the ball follows your mouse, and also made the spikes speed up over time. Because of these changes, I also reset the high scores, some of which may not even be possible now.
