The spirit (Sabito) tends to use the name a lot more than the host (Lyrinn). Story (SPOILER WARNING: Demon Slayer Spoilers): When Lyrinn and Giyu arrive to Sakonji on Mount. Sagiri, Lyrinn immediately senses a paranormal being on the mountain (due to her supernatural/magical abilities) but shakes it off thinking she's just not used to the place. While training alone the next day, she starts to hear a boy's voice calling out to her in her head. After some looking around of who this could be, she realises that her suspicions were true. Then an unknown boy appears with her, seemingly looking like as if he took a liking to her and offered to help her. Lyrinn accepts but realises that this boy was a spirit and Lyrinn had became a body host. The boy introduced himself as Sabito. Nonetheless, he kept his word. Sometime during the two years of training, Lyrinn asked why Sabito offered to help her in the first place. Sabito then explained how he died. "Six years ago, when the day of the final selection came... I didn't make it." (I'll add more later.)
