Basically this follows my new idea about Happy Tree Friends where the characters are being forced to entertain the viewers by dying over and over, as they are unable to die, though they go mad and want to die so badly they started to go crazy during practice (when they were forced to practice for the show before it actually started), which is why each of them has mental disorders, or exaggerated traits. Here are 2 examples in the notes and credits.
Flaky - She was always the one they would jumpscare and kill in the most painful way. She is also the youngest. Extreme paranoia. Flippy - He WAS in war, but in order to make a good antagonist, they would replay his friends from war getting killed and other horrible stuff from war until his mind pushed the memories into a new personality. PTSD.
