What are all the heads/tails sequences for 3 coins? Click the green "Go" flag to see Scratch come up with all eight. Then, click 'See inside' to see how this can be solved with code!
The knowledge and skills of a computer scientist can make solving this problem a straight-forward task. An algorithm -- a set of steps -- can be created and followed to list all the possible heads and tails sequences. Inspired by an example in Chapter 1 of Seymour Papert's book Mindstorms (1980). (Bonus: Computer scientists would probably also notice how the coins sequence list relates to counting in binary.)
