all credit goes to @griffpatch for his awesome tutorials updates: sep. 5: began tutorial 1, finished off at 9:06, player can now move via slider variables oct. 19: worked on tutorial 1 to 18:18, player can now move via arrow keys and wasd within the screen, slightly faster diagonal nov. 9: finished tutorial 1, player now has walk cycle and utilizes idle costumes when stopped. began tutorial 2, finished at 10:45, screen now scrolls infinitely as player walks, and tile spawning is in progress dec. 8: ended at 14:51, player now aligns properly with grid, tiles now scroll according to movement with the screen
