28 . scratch-friendly base edit original base was made by @shadowed-pool! i only traced it for easier use on scratch. be sure to check out shadow's project if you prefer softer lineart! you do not have credit me when using, but you must credit @.shadowed-pool by name credit examples: perfect: base by @.shadowed-pool acceptable: base by @.shadowed-pool, scratch friendly edit by @.-bugg- (i don't exactly deserve credit, as all i did was trace, but go ahead and credit if you want.) bad: base not by me awful: [empty space, no credit] tip: holding shift while using the fill bucket will replace the entire color of something (need to color the lineart? shift+bucket works wonders!) tip #2: do you want to use shadow's version, but the white background is getting in the way? open up your art program, import the base in as a separate layer, and set to multiply. from there, you can draw the colors underneath the lineart layer, and the white will not show up! tip #3: want overlay-esc lineart, like the thumbnail examples? use the eyedropper tool to select the fill colors. lower the darkness, raise the saturation, and move the color slightly to the left, then color in the lineart next to the color you selected. be sure to ask shadowed if you have any questions about usage and permissions. - credits: @.shadowed-pool for making the original base - me for tracing the base (the varying lineweights makes it very pretty but oooh boy did it take a while to trace) - @Pleasure-For-Books, @.Geckelz, @.Auroras-Adopts, and me for designing the dragons featured on the thumbnail. larger versions can be found in the backdrops.
