But I was cozy in the back of our van and had three chairs all to myself to make a bed for >;D I slept most of the way because we drove at night, but we entered Georgia early morning and got to see some pretty landscapes!! When you enter Georgia, you already start seeing completely different geography than from Florida. You see elevated land and more mountain-type trees rather than palms. I was so excited and so astonished-- I have never ever seen mountains in real life before. It was such a beautiful experience and I never thought mountains could be so gorgeous!! The first few pictures are of a car show we went to early that morning in Georgia. There were so many pretty antiques I had to snap a few photos- plus, those AWESOME looking sporties!! I admit it, I am a total car fanatic! XD BUT- CARS SKDJFH The weather was also very different already. For once, I experienced peaceful rain showers rather than aggressive thunderstorms. The sky was WHITE. Not even grey, but WHITE. And it rained a long time. When it rains in Florida, 99% percent of the time it's thunderstorms. It starts off as a nice little shower, and then you hear thunder boom. Then the lightning comes, and it's a mess. Plus, the sky looks like certain doom is coming. It's crazy. But the rain was so pleasant that I couldn't believe it. Not once did it storm while we were there. And while we were driving, we saw a preview of the smokies!! It was so beautiful, oh my gosh- the smoke just subtly rises from the mountain peaks and outlines the different layers of the mountain ranges, ugh, it's just wonderful! THE AMOUNT OF TREES WERE UNBELIEVABLE THOUGH AHAH Then in the afternoon, we arrived to Pidgeon Forge, Tennessee. Before we went to the hotel, we went to an adorable little apple restaurant, which already was insanely country. And right then and there did I hear the southern accent from people. The food was okay ( it was so salty I- ), but the hospitality made up for what the food lacked >w< it was a really nice little area, and I kept screaming in my mind that I was walking in a COMPLETELY different state!!!!! We drove around the city a bit, and it had SO MANY attractions, it reminded me of Orlando. And, another thing, there were so many antique cars, people just drove them like their everyday Toyota Avalon or something- it was so different! In Florida, there are no antiques just casually driving down the road. No, it's just all Teslas. There were no Teslas in Tennessee! Just antique vehicles! Then the evening rolled in and we checked into the... C H R I S T M A S THEMED HOTEL IF YOU KNOW ME WELL ENOUGH YOU KNOW I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THE SEASON OF CHRISTMAS SO THIS PLACE WAS IMMEDIATELY MY HOME IT WAS SO CUTE INSIDE AND OUT, IT LOOKED LIKE A LODGE The inside was BEAUTIFULLY and artistically decorated with holly and plants and Christmas décor and looked like something that came out of a movie. The pool was super cool too and even had a WATERSLIDE which I played the HECK out of. I also met some really nice kids too, and it was nice to hear about where everybody was visiting from. THEY EVEN HAD A S A N T A TO TAKE PICTURES WITH- AND- HE PLAYED THE ELECTRIC GUITAR AHAH Our hotel room was so cute, it had a balcony that if you leaned over far enough, you could see the smoky mountains right in the distance! AND OH MY GOSH. THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP WAS VISITING THE SMOKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK. I HAVE NEVER SEEN MORE BREATHTAKING GEOGRAPHY IN MY LIFE. WE DROVE ON THE MOUNTAIN AND IT WAS AMAZING KJDFJSKHF and... a little annoying too XD the sights were STUNNING but my poor ears- going up and down on the elevated streets and hills put so much pressure on my ears TwT there was so much fog/smoke, again, the sky was just completely white. You look out the window, and you see nothing, just a white void--- words cannot describe the beauty of these mountains, the pictures speak for themselves. I was so lucky to see them with my own eyes. And they span for miles, it's incredible! You can see so much from the viewing sights! There were creeks and canals that looked so fresh ( I think I brushed my leg against poison ivy/oak for the first time :"D ) and even HOUSES were built all the way up on the mountains, it was so cool the immense mountains were so bold and majestic, yet so humble and strong IT WAS ALSO SO COLD AHA- I was not expecting it to be as cold as it was even if that 'coldness' was 60 something degrees come on, I'm not used to it--- then we went to a little downtown area that was SO busy yet a very nice place to walk and look +
+ at, and we went to the Star Cars museum! Most of the cars I didn't care much for since they were almost all from movies before my time, even though they were super pretty, but the one that I freaked out over the most was BUMBLEBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MY BELOVED I TOUCHED THE ACTUAL CARS USED IN PRODUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-------------- AND THEN. A n d t h e n. While we were at the smokies- I didn't know this was going to happen, BUT I SET FOOT IN NORTH CAROLINA TOO!!! AT FIRST I DIDN'T KNOW IT, BUT WE HAD CROSSED THE STATE LINE SINCE THE SMOKIES SPAN INTO NC TOO. I SCREAMED WHEN I FOUND OUT- CAUSE BY THEN I HAD BEEN TO THREE STATES- We ended up driving back home through NC too, so I got to go there again :DDDD we drove through Cherokee, and it was a really nice Native American city to look at!! THIS WAS SUCH A BLESSED ADVENTURE FOR ME <333 I'D ALWAYS DREAMED OF TRAVELING OUT OF STATE FOR ONCE AND AT LAST I GOT MY WISH AND I AM SO THANKFUL FOR IT!! ___________________________________________
