Hmmm... how to use a lift... that's a toughie. It's not really that hard, all you gotta do is push the button for what floor you want to go to. Anyway, welcome to my final project: a fictional version of Church Ave Garage, Roanoke VA, where the good old Beeblebrox had the contract to modernize the famous lift known as "The DieselDucy elevator" in the style of Gibson Road Car Park, Sutton. This thing had a new interior fitted by SnapCab shortly after the mod and it looks rather grand. And on the actual lift, they put something VERY interesting that you wouldn't normally get in a car park - a door hold switch. And yes, it does actually work...and the door hold time only lasts 10 seconds. Oh yeah, uh, well, the alarm doesn't work and the Emergency Phone is engaged so there is no answer when you ring it. Despite that, pressing the alarm bell still causes the voice unit to say "Please Stay Calm, Help Is Coming". Just for fun, the next time you go in a lift with a TVC controller, I dare you to press the alarm button repeatedly and make the voice repeat "PLeaSe sTAy cAlm, hELP iS coMiNG" for several minutes. And yes, I have now retired. I will no longer respond to comments or share anymore projects, but I will leave my account up for archival purposes.
