“one day you will look back and see that all along, you were blooming” - morgan harper nichols . . . one year of art. its crazy to see how much one can grow in such a short period of time, isnt it? ッ the first drawing, drawn on september 2, 2021, was the first drawing i did in what would be a long line of drawings. i do a lot more traditional art now, but here are some of my recent digital pieces to recap on my growth. i am proud now, once i put these pieces side by side, to see how much i have stepped forward as an artistic individual. my style and technique has changed altogether, and only in a year. i never thought art would become one of my hobbies, but here i am. life is full of fun surprises, wouldnt you agree? art can be a slow process, your improving can feel even more so. but heres a tip, from me to you - look back. look back on your growth, and reflect. be proud of it, and yourself. every step forward, whether small or big, is still a step, still a movement, so dont discount it because of its size. near everything goes through its own “ugly” stage of sorts, where things are challenging and tricky, but its pushing through it that is powerful. so dont curb your growth. do you see how far youve come? <3 (yes, im still going to be inactive, but i wanted to pop in and share my yet unfinished story and to also say, you can do it. you can. i believe in you.) (lol space to change slides and click to zoom.) (bye c:)
