Here’s the secret: Don’t build around Fly. Build around Aerial Ace. Yeah. It’s got 55 BP. And it goes crazy with all the nodes his Sync Grid brings it. Attach him to any Skyla - Anni Skyla, Swanna Skyla, heck, Christmas Skyla - and watch things burn. Fly just isn’t worth wasting time on. You will realize that very quickly if you try using him with Fly. It takes forever to deal damage and you end up behind in your sync move count. To stress that the point of not using Fly: I use Nate regularly. He’s one of four sync pairs at level 140 and is one of five EX’d. He has four different grids, two more than shown here. None of them are built around Fly. Always remember that his main attraction is his sync move. Make sure to build onto that as well as whatever else you’re doing. Aerial Ace is only the median between Bravest Brave Birds; I usually use it to take down the side Pokémon and hit the middle with full force. You can also build entirely around your sync move (see image 3 & 4) but I wouldn’t recommend it. And as a BIG ending note: AERIAL ACE: CRITICAL STRIKE THREE IS A TRAP NEVER WASTE YOUR ORBS ON THAT CRITICAL STRIKE THREE YOU’LL END UP JUST SHORT OF INERTIA OR FAST-TRACK OR A SYNC NODE BECAUSE OF IT IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE AND NOT WORTH IT THANK YOU
