As soon as he was a year old, he started racing. He failed every single time he raced. Dead last. Then, they sent him to slaughter. I bought him minutes before he would have died. I worked with him on ground work for a while until he was five, and then I rode him for the first time. A simple walk trot and sometimes canter. That is how we continued for about a year. Then, I decided to have him show jump. Likewise to Keegan, he succeeded greatly. Everyone knows who he his when they see his name on the entrees, and everyone know they'll have to step up their game.
