He was born into a small tribe, called the Arbor Lupus. His mother was the cheiftain's only daughter, and a respected tribe-mate. His father is the head guard, and a bit rough around the edges. Over his teenage years he was quite the ladies man, and broke several hearts. But one day he met a female from one of the opposing tribes, Salire Terra. She was gorgeous, with shimmering waves of silver and deep cherry blossom eyes, he fell instantly in love. Her name was Argentum, and was a hunter. They would meet some nights by the ravine that separated the territories, and kept their relationship a secret from all else. But one day, a Salire Terra patrol was caught inside Arbor Lupus territory, and war broke loose. In the final battle, blood drenched the once beautiful leaves and bodies lay scattered. The Salire Terra were forced to retreat back towards the ravine, and their chances of winning looked slim. Lucida fought bravely, and had no major injuries. Suddenly, one of the larger warriors leaped onto his back, sinking his hangs into the soft flesh of his neck. Unable to move, and his strength draining, he gave up, and fell into the pain. All of a sudden, the weight on his back was lifted, and his eyes weakly opened to see a silver comet slam into his opponent. Argentum. Abruptly, there was a great groan, and part of the ravine fell away, and with it, Argentum. Hurling himself off the steep cliff, he extended his wings and pushed to get to her, so close... Thud. She hit the hard ground, her body bouncing like a pinecone falling from a tree. Landing beside her Lucida was stricken with grief. After laying her body to rest under a beautiful birch, he vowed to never fall in love again. Done C:
