(Yes, ik that I said the story would come out in a few days like two days ago but don’t trust anything I say. And like last time, if the first three word is in all caps, then it means I wrote that paragraph.) Happy reading! (P.S. Sorry. It’s really short.) (P.P.S The song is called 'Higher Than The Sky by 'Infraction'. I just downloaded it from a song/music website, so idk if that is the song's real name.) @Green_axalotl's: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/731245440/ Previous: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/728607682/ Next: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/734217401/ ᴀssᴀssɪɴ's ᴋɴɪғᴇ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ᴛʜʀᴇᴇ ᴘʀᴏᴜᴅʟʏ ᴘʀᴇsᴇɴᴛᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ʙʏ @-ᴡʀɪᴛᴇʀsᴘᴇɴ- ᴀɴᴅ @ɢʀᴇᴇɴ_ᴀxᴀʟᴏᴛʟ ᴄᴏᴘʏʀɪɢʜᴛ (ᴄ) ᴘᴜʙʟɪsʜᴇᴅ ɪɴ 2022 ɪ sᴀᴛ ɪɴ silence as the carriage bumped along the road. Bea was next to me, scratching her brown-turned-blonde hair. “Tell me why we're doing this again,” she whispered. I said nothing but gave a smile. I gazed outside, where the landscape was already starting to change: the trees and weeds fading into roads and small shops. The other noblemen and ladies in our carriage smiled, but did not say a word. I went over our plan in my head. Disguise ourselves as the Duchess of Yurni and Lady Trun. Check. Sneak into the castle. Go to the ball. And then… My thoughts faded into nothingness when the carriage stopped outside the castle. The driver hopped off, opened the door, and gestured us to go out. I stepped out of the cartridge, my red velvet heels scraping against the gravel. Bea, as elegantly as she could manage, hoisted up her huge frilled skirt and stepped out behind me. Good thing we had got better outfits under these massive dresses. I couldn’t imagine us running dressed like this. We stood in awe for a few seconds at the grandeur of the palace; marble-white spires, the main hall's windows illuminated with the lights from the party. A huge pair of doors at the very front sat behind the gates, which then swung open. I had my hair in a complected hairdo at the back of my hair, the red tips tucked out of sight. Once we reached the entrance, a butler opened the door and gestured us to enter. I dragged Bea inside and to an empty corridor as soon as possible. “Ok the plan is simple: we stay in the main party for a while to erase any suspicion, we avoid most and dance for a while. Then we find an excuse to leave and head to the west wing. The prince should be up there. All we got to do is separate him from his courtiers and servants and take him out. Well. Distract him first and then knock him out. And then...” my voice faltered for a bit and then cleared. “Then we change and get out of here. It's quick and simple.” Bea nods and sighs “We’ve been through this a million times!” I roll my eyes, compose myself and we step out into the party. ᴡᴇ ɢᴇᴛ ᴏᴜᴛ of the corridor, secretly and mingle with the crowd. She and I chat with some other guests at the refreshment table for a little while (in other words, OAO assassins), putting on fake smiles and whispering under our breathes about the plan. Emitry, one of OAO's top assassins and my friend since I was five, handed me a glass of what appeared to be wine. But I knew better. It was OAO's energizer for their spies and assassins, to make them alert and ‘smarter’. Somehow, it always worked. “Don't fall in love,” Emitry winked. “I heard the Crown Prince is very handsome.” I barked out a laugh. “Don't worry, I won't. Besides, OAO is my life. And the Kingdom of Trunif depends on me.” Emitry wasn't too assured. "But really, don't. Romantic love…is a terrible, terrible thing. And if you could, it would be best if he fell in love with you." Emitry left, waving and disappearing into the crowd, along with the other spies and assassins. ᴀɴɴᴏᴜɴᴄᴇᴍᴇɴᴛs Well...I have a new studio for chatting with me? I'm very grateful she did :D -Nothing else :D
