Here is the boy, Avery-Duncan! I got this design from @NorthGlens a while back but I never got around to completing his reference (I started the sketch in September but picked it up like today) Name / Avery-Duncan Gender / Male (He/him) Orientation / Homoromantic asexual Personality / Avery-Duncan is a very friendly but very goofy farmer who wears his heart on his sleeve. He's a vocal cat who loves talking and can't seem to stop, even at the worst times. Similar to his farming faction, Avery-Duncan is often looked down upon and seen as dim-witted, something which greatly infuriates this sepia colourpoint. Just because they're the backbone of society doesn't mean they're dumb! In truth, Avery-Duncan is clever. Don't let his soft appearance fool you! However, he tends to be somewhat cowardly- or at least in scary situations. He's not scared of hard work, just the dark. (Sorry that it's a bit rough this format is a lot easier for me to do rather than sorting it out into positive, negative, and neutral lol) Backstory / Avery-Duncan was born to [insert name] and [insert name] in a very small town named Woodhurst. Growing up in a nuclear winter was rough since not many plants could survive the harsh temperatures. Yet, some crops were able to endure the weather and so Avery-Duncan was sent to work farming for his home town. Then not much happened but he did go to school and became classmates with a peculiar beastkeeper named Beowulf. Then another very grand time skip occurred and they both stumbled upon an abandoned power plant in an attempt to recover a runaway sheep. Terrified but determined, the pair set out and freed a cat who was trapped in a stasis tank. Trivia / - Avery-Duncan's parents couldn't actually decide if they wanted to name him "Avery" or "Duncan" so they just decided to use both- hence the name "Avery-Duncan" (this also reflects the fact I couldn't decide what to name him lol) - After rediscovering some (very) old comics, Avery-Duncan is now an official Ghostbusters fan and currently trying to hunt down some ghosts - Once, Avery-Duncan was dared to steal his neighbour's pink bandana and he somehow did ended up stealing it! Now he wears it out of pride, sort of treats it as a trophy- especially because it earned him some respect since farmer children weren't well-respected in schools anyway. (nobody liked that crusty old neighbour anyways and it was pretty common to steal, which probably explains why everyone was so chill with it lol) CREDITS Art - / Design -
