—Preamble— We, members of the Republic of Scratchistan, to create and found a new nation with the intent of entertainment and roleplay, write this constitution of The Republic of Scratchistan. —Article I.— Section A. The primary form of government for The Republic of Scratchistan is a Republic. Section B. The Government for The Republic (of Scratchistan) shall consist of two entities—or branches—the Primary Branch, and the Judicial Branch. Section C. The head of the government of the Republic is the president, who resides in the Primary Branch. The second-in-command is the Vice President, who also resides in the Primary Branch. —Article II.— Section A. Every two months, an election for president and vice president will occur. The election is a popular vote where people will vote for candidates through a preference ballot(rank 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice, etc.) Section B. Immediately following the election and the ballots are compiled, the victors for president and vice president will take office. The president becomes group owner and the vice president, manager. —Article III.— Section A. There shall be a Congress of the Republic that has the power to make laws, impose tariffs, declare war, and ban members. Section B. The delegates of the Congress of the Republic are elected by a popular vote every month, and sometimes overlaps with the presidential election.
