This time of year made it worse, it was her birthday, and the time when the hunters celebrated by hanging lights outside thier doors and singing, none of that awaited Snowdrift now, she began to sing the song her mother had sang to her 2 moons ago, to remind her of the coming festivities. In a way, it had been bad to live there, under the threat of the hunters, but now Snowdrift just wanted her father back, her entire family was hated by hunters. She wished they could go back to how it was, with mother and father grabbing lefover food, or stray chikens who left the coop. She remebered how when New-leaf had come her father had been captured, she had been only 3 moons old, but she rembered how one day, Mother and Father went hunting, and Father never came back. Now, from only 2 moons ago, her mother's screams as the hunters captured her were still freash in her head. She herself had barely escaped, and now she was on her own. 12 Moons old, and already lost, she needed a pack, she needed other wolves. Snowdrift sighed "Well, i guess i better get going" 7 moons later, she found a pack, and a wolf she loved, and friends and everything, it was better than life with her mom, it was better than life in the city, but then came a new alpha, and everything came crashing down.
The song that Snowdrift is singing is a wolf modified version of 'thats christmas to me' by the pentatonix becuase it was one of the slower cristmas songs i could find, and her singing 'jingle bells' wouldnt fit the mood
