OMG Chiroyce new project!!1! :O > SVG vs Bitmap Click the flag, leave the answer blank and let it run the test (will take around 12 seconds). NOTE: The result is NOT an average, but the lowest value the FPS dipped to. Then you get your results, share them in the comments or over at https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/629316/ where we're discussing if SVG animations will play back more smoother than Bitmap. The more the costumes, the more accurate the result will be. Well, the short answer is, no. For longer and more complex animations, the time and resources spent for rasterizing them is a lot and will have a noticeable performance impact. But for shorter ones, that don't require near 30 FPS to run, then you're good with SVG too. Costumes generated with a nice Python script — https://github.com/adlf/Random-SVG-image-generator (apparently doesn't work on Python 3.10 so make sure you're using 3.9, 3.8 or 3.7 instead)
