Not literally but… very close. In their multiverse, Dream sacrificed himself to create them along with Death. He cut his soul in half and they were born from it. They’re a team and need each other to fight and to make their job: soul reaping, just like Death. Hela makes sure to guide the dead to their world and to give them a “happy/proper death” while Astrea takes the soul. Hela is a very cheerful and shy girl, having lots of Dream’s traits. She’s honest, sweet and sometimes a little mischievous (mostly when she’s with her brother. They are troublemakers!). She can also turn herself into a albino crow.
