First, select a bowls colour. Press the up arrow to get your next bowl. Hold the spacebar to charge up the power of your bowl. Let go to roll your bowl. Try to get as close to the jack as you can. Your score starts at 500, and will go down depending on how close you get to the jack. If you get really close, your score will go up.
