With the name Hellbenderkit, you would expect some evil, classic movie villian-ish character, always manipulative and greedy. Right? Well, not quite. Hellbenderkit is more of a prankster, having less of a motive to destroy and more to amuse herself or cause non-harmless fun. Most cats would mistrust this kit- I mean, wouldn’t you, with such a dastardly-sounding namesake? A lot of cats are surprised when they find xem giving someone a gift or just helping out in a small way, like gathering berries for them. Hellbenderkit is determined to never be evil or horrible to others. That’s just wrong! Who would ever do that? (cough cough Bashfulcrush) And, really, it’s hard to dislike her. Something about faer aura just exudes pure fun, making even the most stoic of cats crack a smile or two. This is one reason why it seems like it can just weasel her way out of any punishment, a mystery to all in ThunderClan. You can just tell if Hellbenderkit is really into something- it has a telltale sign, a sparkle in xyr eyes as she starts talking a mile a minute. If she has a strong opinion or fixation on something, you better believe fae’ll let you know in a second! Hellbenderkit likes a good leadership position, not finding joy in bossing others around- instead, she feels pride. A primary goal for this kit is to look at xyrself and wonder, “I can’t believe I got this far. I’m so lucky to have these cats by my side!” Hellbenderkit also likes leadership roles because of its organization. One look at her nest and you’ll immediately see that everything has its place: not a stray leaf or twig out of place! Later in life, this is also evident when fae starts a collection of random things, as all objects and items are color-coded and arranged by size. Hellbenderkit won’t hesitate one bit if you mess up xyr systems: she’ll let, well, all heck loose. How dare this random cat mess up her perfect little rows of things! They’ll certainly pay for this sacrilege! And Hellbenderkit doesn’t mind saying this to the face of higher-ups, either. It is almost too daring for her own good, but in this case it’s to faer favor, as cats will soon know her to be Hellbenderkit, the one that doesn’t show hesitation in the face of danger. And what a title to behold! If you bring it up, faer face will just light up in pure joy, practically shaking with excitement that the entire Clan noticed faer efforts! You can’t go one day without spotting good ol’ Hellbenderkit going at it again, pranking someone else- whether it be leaves thrown in your face or jumping on your back to spook you, keep one eye on the back of your head when around this kit! She loves the thrill of causing mayhem, though xe does know when it went too far and will apologize profusely if a reaction is stronger than intended. Perhaps a little too profusely. Hellbenderkit is a master of theatrics, going to the ends of the world to make things a bigger deal than it ever would be. Did you get a scratch? Oh great heavens! You’ll certainly get infected and perish! Someone looked at xem weird? They certainly hate her with a +
burning passion! These whiny, admittedly childish acts aren’t safely contained. Hellbenderkit will let all opinions and thoughts loose, regardless of someone else’s opinion on said topic. Whatever’s on faer mind, she’ll say. Better not share secrets with it… Hellbenderkit doesn’t care for the rules very much, and that doesn’t change if she gets an apprentice. Oh, who cares if they stole some herbs from the medicine den? They can just grab some more! There’s plenty to go around! Pshh, why bother punishing someone for disobeying a small little order? That’s too much work, it’ll say. And, yes, Hellbenderkit is certainly on the lazier side. Family is one of the first things on faer mind at all times- Angelfishkit, Buttonsaga, and anyone else she considers family will earn her all-time protection. Hellbenderkit adores spending time with xyr loved ones. Nothing is better in the world than just cuddling up with her brother. All past worries melt away, and the only thing important at that moment is the soft off-white fur of its littermate. Hellbenderkit’s mouth is an endless torrent of words 24/7. It seems as if she used every word in the book and is still talking! Paired with her natural bluntness, no stone (or in this case, nerve) is left unturned as it spouts every possible thing that comes to mind. Hellbenderkit is quite inexperienced when it comes to a lot of things, however, which becomes evident when fae tries to do, well, anything. Fae doesn’t pick up on social cues very well, generally being described as “dense” or “airheaded” by other cats. Hellbenderkit also has trouble believing that others can be “evil”, in a sense. Threats and violence don’t really have an effect on it, until it actually comes true and she gets injured because of it. When you really stop and think, there isn’t one moment when Hellbenderkit is truly alone, with no one else nearby. Fae is extremely clingy, and part of that is the belief that if she doesn’t keep in touch, they’ll just disappear like xyr parents did. As if one day, it’ll just wake up and her friend will be gone. This ties in to another personality trait that xe possesses, overthinking every possible situation to the max. What if that shadow she saw in the corner of faer vision was actually a scary predator waiting to eat her and Angelfishkit?! However, this momentary panic doesn’t last long as Hellbenderkit easily loses track of xyr thoughts. Don’t expect fae to complete a task you give it, as her mind is a constant whirlwind, picking up and dropping ideas just as quickly as the next. A lot of the time, that means that Hellbenderkit forgets to even thank others for helping her. She doesn’t mean to, of course, but that doesn’t change the fact that xe has a lot of unfinished thank-you’s to give out.
