The dot then points in a random direction, ranging from -20 to 20. It has a variable named force which starts around 30 and slows down as the firework gets higher up in the air, while gravity is also at the same time pushing the dot down with its force, starting at 0 and going down by -1. Once the dot is at its top point in the sky (when the absolute value of gravity is greater than the amount of force), it goes away and is replaced with a bunch of new dots (the explosion dots). The same force/gravity code is applied to each one of the new explosion dots, though this time they can point in any direction. The explosion dots all go through the air until they are touching an edge.
