Going to reshare every time I add another art piece -- “Aelius Desparo” > Aelius > Meaning sun, as Aelius is the unknown god’s ‘sun’ > Desparo coming from latin word meaning hopeless -- World info -- This is the story of an unwanted child and a forgotten god. Gods rule over their separate sectors, essentially acting as the heart of the land. The nameless god was one who had lost his land, something unheard of. Lands without gods typically fall apart until a new god can be named to stabilize the sector. Gods cannot exist without their land, and yet, the nameless god still existed, thus creating a paradox in which a land not fully connected (And thereby unaffected by time) exists under the nameless god's control. -- Timeline -- Aelius stumbles upon a temple of the nameless god, who at this point in time, has mostly lost his mind. Aelius forms a bond with the nameless god, though the relationship quickly spirals to dependency. Nameless god traps Aelius within his realm ("I can show you the world! Just.. don't leave me. Please."), letting him dream of different worlds aside from the unstable one they reside in. Aelius breaks out of the dream world at some point in time, gains hatred towards the nameless god. Agrees to stop trying to escape if nameless god lets the Aelius that never entered this realm go free. At some point Aelius makes contact with a group gunning for order. Agrees to help take down nameless god. Sometime later, the protagonist of this world comes by, Aelius acts as guide, they end up fighting nameless god together. Protagonist ends up taking nameless god's focal point (proof of godhood). Aelius watches memories of nameless god, as nameless god collapses into an non-human black mess. Decides to take nameless god and raise him. Aelius ends up being killed by world-order group, Nameless god regains memories as a result. Nameless god takes on Aelius's form and takes down group to grieve. Eventually, Nameless god meets the Aelius that left his realm unaffected, swears to protect him this time.
