I had a dream I was animating in Scratch (probably my subconscious plaguing me with guilt for being so inactive here), and then I awoke feeling nostalgic, so I tried to do it for real... So I made this little thing and I know it's nothing much but oh boi it was certainly a throwback, haha. It has been many, many years since I've attempted animating purely with the Scratch editor (2.0 btw), and goshdarn I don't know how I ever once survived using just this. It's so clunky and,, lacking in any basic art/animation features. But hey it was kinda fun too, an interesting challenge, and definitely very nostalgic. Brings me back to ye olden days of 2015 when 13-year-old me spent all my time on Scratch making animations. I miss those days. (It's 2022 now and I'm an "adult". Terrifying.) Honestly this site was a big part of my childhood and will always have a special place in my heart. And even though I've become distant, and as much as I complain about it's multitude of issues, I still can't help but keep finding myself coming back. I know I have been VERY inactive these days, and I'm sorry, but I just want to say thank you all so much for the continued kindness, patience and support over the years, I really appreciate it <3 -
