PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS Hi! I'm here to talk about an important topic, or, at least it is to me. Girls hockey. When I was five, I got on the ice and my life changed. I couldn't skate, couldn't understand the rules, couldn't shoot-and now, I can do all of those things and many more. As soon as I got off of the ice I said, and I quote, "Dad, I want to do hockey." My dad plays hockey. My uncle plays hockey. My friend plays hockey. I play hockey. Not long after I decided I wanted to commit my life to this sport, my sister did too. I played on a team of boys for a little while, but I always had to get dressed in a different locker room, because I was the only girl on the team. I liked playing with boys but I also wanted to play with girls. I decided I wanted to try out for an all girls team. I made it! I made new friends and had lots of fun. We won tournaments, I got a hat trick, and was named rookie of the year. It couldn't have been any better. It got worse. Boys came into the picture. Boys I'd know for years made fun of us for playing the game, physically gotten into fights (outside of games) and called us bad names that I'm not going to repeat. Some, though, were very nice. They gave me compliments, cheered for us, and always were good sports. Anyway, if you're a girl who plays hockey, don't let those people put you down. Also, if you are interested in playing hockey-go for it! It's really fun and a great workout. I'm also not trying to point my finger at all boys who play. I happen to have two great friends (who are boys) who play hockey. I suggest you try this exciting sport and see what fun adventures find your way! Enjoy your journey! -hockeycat21
@hockeycat21 I have a LOT of hockey stories, so I might make a project about it? Also to whoever made the picture :)
