So, here is my theory: The glowing cat is acting as a nice, powerful queen but secretly she is E V I L and collecting (magical?) objects given to certain people for a certain thing. The black, glowing cat is locking the purple cat (her niece) up in some dark room (Jail cell?) to get the object from her.
