Bisexual, demisexual ➤ [ Appearance ] Hawkcrest’s pelt is a dark mix between grey and brown with piercing green eyes thrown on top, all over his muscular build. Along the top of his head, and back, a black crest of fur, with a tuft of white, lies. His face has a lighter mask near his eyes, freckled with black spots with a white dot near his pink nose. Light grey ears with black tufts rest atop his head, disproportionately long. Down his chest, Hawkcrest’s fur is mostly black, with one splotch of white across the center. His long legs are each splotched with white towards the top, and grey, feathery fur coming of the ends. His front legs, left shoulder scarred, goes from dark grey to a slightly lighter variety, ending with black, then grey, and a sliver of white. The same can be said for his back legs, but a lighter grey stretching from his knees to where his crest ends, and a jagged scar along his left leg. Hawkcrest’s stomach goes from darker to lighter, like many parts of his body, with four black stripes cutting down his sides. Fight with a badger ➤ [ Personality ] Cold and bitter, Hawkcrest is no sweet cat at first glance, or second, or third… in fact, he typically treats others with nothing but disdain. He’s not above using pettiness and conniving sneers to put cats down — yet is deeply offended when they dare do the same. And while he generally keeps a neutral facade, Hawkcrest is also quick to anger. He uses his rage and frustration as a form of power and control, to manipulate. It’s not something he always does intentionally out of malice. Indeed, it is justified in the warped way he views the world. He becomes so swept up in his thoughts and feelings that he gets tunnel vision. To be incorrect, for him, is an impossibility; he refuses to believe it. Even when he’s abusive. Everything adds up, even if just within his own, twisted morals. That being said, he does still have a heart. Hawkcrest feels love for those close to him stronger than most, maybe obsessively. He considers it a vigilant duty to look after his loved ones. Especially Otterchase, who often jumps headfirst into risky situations. As a result of his brothers shenanigans, he’s learned to be a quick thinker in a crisis, his first instincts being to rescue others. But perhaps his love has its downfalls, making Hawkcrest a very jealous cat. It’s important to him to keep loved ones, mostly Otterchase, closer to him than anyone — even if that means cutting them off from the rest of the world. And while he’s typically a rather logical cat, emotions will oftentimes cloud his judgement. When feeling upset, Hawkcrest opts to be alone, go hunting or watch birds — any activity he can reflect on what happened during.
