Me and Moonee made this, but I decided to write out the story format of this special AU. More Parts? Maybe. The Arrival Cockroach held a small kitten by its scruff and dropped it towards the ground. The small kitten mewed with protest against this and glowered at the tom. Frozen Heart appeared from his den and gave a cold, condescending look at the small creature. "What in the blazing sun, is that?" The white tom snarled. A smaller cat appeared from the den and mewed "Brother?" The larger tom scornfully hissed at the she-kit "No, your brother is dead. Remember, Fierce?" She padded forward and peered down at the pathetically small kit. The small kitten hissed and lashed out his small paw, only for him to stumble and lose his balance. Cockroach turned his head and signaled a black tom to come forward. The cat dropped down a charcoal colored scarred tom, the very sight of this cat amused Frozen Heart. "Foolish, Coal. If only he wasn't so blind to how cruel nature can be." Pebblekit froze. That cat, that dead cat. He did this to him! He destroyed his family! Fierce mewed "Why does he look funny? Where is his other eye?" Pebblekit stiffened. What?! He touched his right eye, and fire surged through his swollen face. No! A scarred calico she-cat hissed "Why do we need another mouth to feed? Take it back to wherever you found it!" Frozen Heart gaze silenced her like a sharp gail through the trees. "Well, what should we do with it?" a brown tabby yowled. All the cats started to yammer and yell above one another and start throwing nasty insults at the small kitten. "It's just crow food!" one yowled. "A fox wouldn't even eat it, even if it was a last resort of food." another screeched. Pebblekit felt scared, tears welled up in his good eye and he started to sob. "WHY STARS, WHY?! WHY DO YOU HAVE NO MERCY ON US?!" He screamed. The crowd silenced at the small kitten's cry. Frozen Heart prowled forward and the crowd split into two sections. He stood ten mouse hops away from the puny kitten and put his paw over Pebblekit. Pebblekit felt his body being dragged away from the spot he was sitting in, moving away and underneath the white tom's grasp. Cockroach had a sick feeling in his stomach, was about to do what he thought he was going to do? Frozen Heart didn't leave his gaze from the crowd and stiffly spoke "This kit will be one of us, and anyone who dares say otherwise," He paused, his yellow piercing eyes locked on the scarred calico. "Will step forward, and answer to me right now." The large crowd separated away from her, and made her an easy target. The white tom stood up and padded towards her, his gaze never faltering away from the calico's emerald eyes. He stopped and snarled "Well, anything you want to say?" The calico stiffened and snarled in a mocking tone "I would never work alongside a runt! He wouldn't survive a moon without food!" Frozen Heart stifled a laugh and turned around. "I thought as much." With the flick of his tail, a brown tabby charged forward and attacked the calico. Pebblekit cried out for it to stop, but it was too late. The brown tabby backed away and wiped his red colored paws on his chest. The calico huffed and her eyes began to dilate, as her wound seeped like a leak. Frozen Heart grabbed Pebblekit's scruff and signaled Fierce to follow. He leapt onto his boulder, and put Pebblekit down. His eyes were watching the crowd with a cold hardened gaze. "Get that filthy cat out of my camp." He spoke in an icy voice. "I don't want another repeat of this mess again. Do I make myself clear?" Cockroach lowered his head, bared his teeth and slowly spoke softly so no one would hear. "Crystal clear, you highness." Several cats dragged away the two bodies and another group grabbed wet moss to clean up the mess. Fierce saw Pebblekit blink for the first time in minutes. His gaze is still fixated on the aftermath. Frozen Heart creeped up beside him and sat down next to both kits. He peered down at the kit and spoke coldly "Sometimes, things need to be settled with violence." "But harming others isn't necessary." Pebblekit mewed. Frozen Heart felt a twitch in his paws. "Sacrifices have to be made in desperate measures." Fierce shivered at the tone in his voice. Pebblekit made eye contact and glowered, tears still glistening in his eyes. "And my name isn't "It" or "Runt", it's Pebblekit." Frozen Heart twitched his whiskers and his yellow eyes went into slits. "You might as well sleep. Your training begins in the morning, Pebblekit." He stood up and prowled inside his den. Fierce opened her mouth to say something to him, but words fell out like rotten prey. She backed up and went into her den. Pebblekit huffed and loosened his gaze. He saw the sun start to fall behind the trees, only to be swallowed into the dark blanket of the night. Tears began to fall again and he mewed softly "Mama, where are you?" His response was only a cold wind blowing through the trees. He curled up into a little ball and slept.
