Please don't use this system unless you have a REALLY good reason that you don't want a project to be remixed. And also, please don't take this down ST, it's just a concept and I don't intend for any harm. For years now, it has been easy to clone exact copies of projects on Scratch and get really popular because of this. OK, maybe that's one thing that ST needs to fix because by now generic platformers are just plain capitalism. But now, I've devised a system that will hopefully prevent any project cloning! Well, sort of. Read the notes and credits for more details. If you click the green flag on this project or a remix, it will detect if your copy is pirated or not. Under normal circumstances, if you press it on this project, it will say that it's WONGMY approved, but if it's an unchanged remix, it will tell you it's not the original in a great reference that you may tell everyone in the comments. Also, please petition for projects being remixes if uploaded to another account in the comments too. I've already said it, but the system is TOO broken.
I made it all myself. Well, the idea might have been done before, but I haven't searched it yet. Now, onto the specific piracy circumstances. I'm not gonna tell you exactly how it works because you can look in the code to do that, but I'll give you the semi-basics. If you remix it without even looking at it, it's pirated. If you try and edit the project after remixing, it's pirated. If you remix it keeping all the code, it will appear pirated to other accounts. This means that the only way to practically see the WONGMY approved screen is to start this specific copy of the project. Also, its quite easy to break currently, but if you hide the mechanism in a sprite with other purposes, it could potentially be almost impossible to find. Also, if I do include this in my later games, I'll include ingame mod support that you can save as a text document and share in the comments.
