assalamualikum, may peace be upon you and may allah bless yourself and your loved ones, ameen<3 (req by @cookiebwn-<3) — — — - tidy your area more. for me, simply closing a bursting pencil case can make the place you are in much calmer - get active. believe it or not, exercise and any other active sport can release endorphins, which keep you happy - keep a gratitude journal. if you write what you are thankful for, you will realise how grateful you are for these things you have - listen to music or read books. music and books have the same purpose, to take you to another world. doing this can release unwanted stress in your body thus making you feel more energized, relaxed and calm - eat good food. when i say 'good food' i mean nourishing food. every once in a while, it is healthy to eat food that may be considered unhealthy, such as chocolate (my fave) but very sugary or salty foods can leave you fully energized for a short amount of time, then after half an hour, you feel drowsy an unenergized. foods like oats, greek yoghurt, eggs and tuna are good examples. or on snack terms, almonds, dark chocolate, melon and rice are also good - spend time in nature. i personally like to buy a massive takeaway meal and make a picnic just for myself at the park (lol) but you can also include friends too! i only dont because i feel like i need some time for myself. you can do other things, like pick flowers, watch the sun set, garden or just take a walk! appreciate the world around you, this will put your mind at peace - be kind to yourself. try your best but dont beat yourself about it! instead of creating punishments, create rewards for when you finsih tasks and goals. something small like a candy bar can stimulate your reward system - drink refreshing drinks. sure, cola is sooo addicting:0 but drinking more nutritious drinks such as fruit smoothies, water and freshly squeezed juice is much more beneficial. water especially, has many benefits, including clearer skin, better mindset and healthy immune system. if you find water unpleasant, you can drink flavoured water, sparkling water! as long as they have no added sugar, they will have the exact same benefits as normal water. people should aim for 1.5-2L of water hope that helped:)
