update: ok so i'm back lol and i'll turn comments back on. special thx to @catboi_art for being such an amazing friend--u need to follow them RIGHT NOW :0 scratch blocked me for "sharing personal info." i mentioned the book face in a comment. there was absolutely no personal info in it. scratch filters are messed up, the scratch community is corrupted, and i'm super duper done. no, i'm not leaving. i just need some time to cool off. also? this is literally a coding platform for eight-year-olds. i do not believe that people should be sharing their personal views on sensitive topics like lgbtq. i do not believe that people should be making projects that call others out. scratch is a coding. platform. not another social media app. so can we please stop treating it like one? having opinions is fine. forcing them on a bunch of middle schoolers isn't. i'm going to turn comments off in my profile for a while and won't be responding to any comments unless it's a close friend or family member. thanks for reading my vent. if you're interested in helping to try and make scratch the way it used to be, try talking to some st members and see what they have to say. and now here are some useless tags that i'm making because i can #stopfightingstartcoding #nomoredrama #ifyoucan'tsaysomethingnicedon'tsayanythingatall #peacelovescratch #lovethecodehatethedrama #don'tcodeaboutarguing u can use these if u want idc :P
