So my mom came in my room to wake me up (I normally wake up on my own, but today I didn't, and I was lucky she didn't have work) and I barely heard the good morning, I heard her say 'she/he?' and I shot up because she was looking at my pronoun pin on my dresser. I tried to tell her I made it for a friend but she asked about the friends name and I couldn't come up with a good character on the spot (it was like 8 in the morning and I just woke up). She hugged me and said "if these are your pronouns I want you to be comfortable, we can go see if we can get you new cloths or a new haircut if you want, your dad and I might not understand it right now, but we will support you, and we might need you to explain it to us." I'M CRYING RIGHT NOW THAT WAS NOT HOW I PLANNED IT TO GO BUT HEY! SHE SUPPORTS ME!
Update: My dad now calls me 'sir' sometimes, itsamazing- Update #2: Welp, my family forgot and only 5 of my friends even try getting my pronouns right
