Press space to get the icing to follow your mouse, and press space again to drop it. Click and drag with your mouse to add icing. Change the icing color with the slider. Press the left and right arrows to change the background Drag the decorations (candy canes, peppermints and trees) to where you want them to be. Press the snow button to turn the snow on and off. (you can't really see it if the background is white - press the left and right arrow keys to change it.
