It would be an almost impossible task to list every single species of plant and animal that lives in a desert oasis. Consider these some of the more common ones your cat will encounter, and you're welcome to stray from this. If there’s anything in particular you really want me to add though, let me know! P.S. Yeah, geographically some of these don't make sense, but from what I can gather from the other clans, that's the approach we're taking, similarly to how the books after the first arc aren't set somewhere specific ⠀⠀② | FLORA • Acacias • Apache plume • Apricot trees • Cacti • Desert dandelions • Desert zinnias • Fairy dusters • Golden suncups • Olive trees • Palm trees* • Peach trees *Notably Date palms ⠀⠀③ | FAUNA • Prey ⠀◦ Bats* ⠀◦ Cactus wren ⠀◦ Catfish ⠀◦ Chub ⠀◦ Geckoes ⠀◦ Jerboas ⠀◦ Minnows ⠀◦ Panfish ⠀◦ Roadrunners ⠀◦ Sandgrouse ⠀◦ Skinks ⠀◦ (Juvenile) Turtles • Predators ⠀◦ Coyotes • Unspecified (Wildlife that does not prey on cats, nor do cats prey on them. This is generously supplemented with the sweet fruits that grow in and around camp, that cats choose to snack on, like dates, peaches and apricots. While they can’t taste their pleasing flavours, the texture is appealing and RiverClan cats have developed a liking for them. Rarely will they hunt small vertebrae like roadrunners and jerboa, but they might if presented with the opportunity. They’re far more likely to chase the skinks lurking in the reeds by the water. RiverClan elders are susceptible to developing diabetes later in life, as well as cavities, due to their sugary diet. ╭┈─────── Credits ────────┈╮ ⠀⠀⠀Song: Gerudo Town (day) - Zelda BotW ⠀⠀⠀Graphics: BeFunky & Canva ⠀⠀⠀, , ⠀⠀⠀ & ⠀⠀⠀ for proof reading and/or giving ⠀⠀⠀ me ideas :D ╰┈───────────────────┈╯
