FROM SHADO_TEMPLE: Hey friends, one more @everyone for probably the year: I’M GETTING MARRIED SOON! We’re a DAY away from the big day, and while things aren’t on fire per se, we are very much staying busy keeping this whole thing together! Thankfully we have a pile of great vendors that are helping us work through it all, and with any luck, it’s going to be a lovely party where Marissa and I get to show off how much we love each other ❤️ Of course, a big reason that I bring this up is that YOU, yes YOU, are invited to watch the ceremony! YES, thanks to a wide number of contributors from earlier this year, we’ll be broadcasting our ceremony on the main Twitch channel! The stream will be starting up around 5:15pm ET on October 1st, and will go until the end of the ceremony around 6:15pm ET. All are welcome to join and listen in, BUT I will have some event-specific rules about this, for the sake of safety for myself, Marissa, and all those involved. For one, it goes without saying that the ceremony will have personal information that I haven’t otherwise put out there, and because of this, I’m going to try and limit how much reach the stream has outside of our own community. That’s why, until the wedding is over, you won’t see pictures or posts from me on Twitter/Insta until the following day, and I request that all of you do the same, especially if you find something fun during the stream. If you do want to post something the next day, try and keep names out of it to the best of your ability. For this stream, clips will be disabled, the VOD will not be public afterwards, chat will be kept in follower-only mode, the stream will be unlisted from any category, and our full names will be blacklisted from the chat itself. I realize this is a lot of precautions, but safety is my number 1 priority for everyone involved. I’m hoping that, by putting all these precautions in place, we can make this a really cool thing to share with everyone while keeping things low in the drama department! If you have any concerns about safety that I’m not otherwise considering here, feel free to DM me, and I’ll bring it into the overall prep for this weekend.
