Just going to use this as an excuse to rant about Pokémon lol So I did a test to find my six favourite Pokémon and drew the results Swampert wasn't a surprise in the slightest. He was my first ever Pokémon, he absolutely carries you through the early game, especially against Wattson, he's objectively the best Hoenn starter fight me and he's a giant beefy axolotl. Also I just have a thing for water-ground types. Every single fully evolved water-ground type has himbo energy and no I will not elaborate. Breloom is also not surprising, seeing as she's the only Pokémon from my original Ruby playthrough that I actually remember, other than Swampert. I remember getting her as a Shroomish because I was playing Fire Red at the same time with Bulbasaur as my starter and I knew the power of a grass-type with leech seed and sleep powder, and when she evolved into this dinosaur-mushroom-kickboxer hybrid I was absolutely psyched. I still think Breloom is a really cool design and use her whenever I get the chance. Crobat is probably the Pokémon I've used the most out of these guys, mostly because Zubat is so common. I used to hate the Zubat line until I found out about Crobat, and ever since I've caught one whenever possible. Idk I just think she's cool. There's something I just love about these common weak Pokémon that you normally ignore, who turn into absolute powerhouses if you put the effort in. Also she's a friendship evolution, and I'm going to be controversial here and say that I really like the friendship mechanic. I just think it's cute that your Pokémon will evolve if they love you enough. Butterfree is mostly on here because she's cute lol. Like, 97.5% accurate sleep powder is pretty cool and she can absolutely sweep Brock despite being quad weak to rock (mostly because Geodude doesn't have any rock moves and Onix is an Onix), but above all else she's a fuzzy little butterfly and that's all you really need to make it onto my list of faves. Also I call all my Butterfrees "Margarine" because I'm a comedy genius. Heracross actually surprised me, but honestly I think she's just a testament to how much I hate Whitney's Miltank lol. The first time I used her she gave my team Pokérus and the second time she crit one-shot Whitney's Miltank. Also she somehow manages to be adorable despite being a giant rhino beetle. Sableye is mostly here because he's an nasty little gremlin who lives in a cave and collects shiny things and honestly mood. Honorable mentions include Umbreon and Absol because twelve-year-old me was edgy and I'm still nostalgic for them, Sylveon because they're a walking trans flag and I have a shiny one on Pokémon Go who's my default Buddy Pokémon, the Venusaur line because frog, Groudon because they were my first legendary and every single ghost-type Pokémon because they all have incredibly messed up Pokédex entries and that's amazing. I don't think I've ever noticed this but honestly imo bug-types are the best designed Pokémon. There's not a single bug-type Pokémon with a design that I think is bad. There are some that I dislike (*side-eyes Illumise*) but they're not bad designs, they're just ones that I personally don't like.
Scratch made the quality cronchy Can you tell I like Hoenn? Because I like Hoenn, idk if you knew.
